Not sure how this is any better than the Bills, but I'm sure it will not end well
-
Better them than us
-
3rd and a 5th. That's not a terrible deal, I thought it would cost them one of their firsts.
-
This makes sense.
-
He gets a new 3 year 50.1 million dollar deal. That’s why it’s “better” for Brown.
But more importantly it’s better for us he’s not in the division.
-
Steelers also will be taking on a whopping $21.12 million dead money charge - largest 1 year dead money hit of all time

would you rather live in las vegas or buffalo?

Of course the twitter GMs are complaining we didn’t trade for AB, of course they are

Of course Manish is the biggest imbecile of them all
-
I think I would have made that trade for Brown. That is about the max I would want to give up, but our offense would look so much different eith a star like Brown to free up Robby and Enunwa. We could have gotten those picks back by trading down from 3.
Brown seems like a head case right now so I understand why they wouldn't pull the trigger. But the Jets have never had a receiver as good as Brown still is.

Of course the price was good. There’s also a reason his market was 4-5 teams
-
@Spotrac: It’s perfectly possible, if not likely, that the #Raiders offer Le’Veon Bell the exact same 3 year, $50M-ish, $30M-ish guaranteed contract in a few days.
-
God I hope the Raiders are on Hard Knocks.
-
Ian Rapoport @RapSheet
The trade compensation — a third and a fifth going to the #Steelers — wasn’t an issue. Several teams were willing to give that or more. The contract was the issue. In the end, Antonio Brown got his old deal ripped up and redone, a rarity. His demands limited the pool to 1 team.
-
The Steelers' loss to Blake Bortles in the playoffs will now officially go down as the last game that Ben, Bell, and Brown ever played together.
-
Glad he's not here or in our division.
-
This dude continues to prove that he is a psychopath
-
Thank god this guy isn't a Jet. The whole vibe of this team right now seems positive and constructive. Even the guy who has the biggest reason to feel jilted showed up for voluntaries.
-
Antonio Brown has announced he is going to attempt to stop stirring up controversy on social media.
In Twitter parlance, he is logging off. "Not giving you media fakes no more ammo," Brown began. "Enjoy my name AB!!! I am in Cali living ready to ball no nonsense!! You trollers troll! To good to worry #CallGod."
Riiiight, this was the media’s fault!

Wasn’t Manish pining for AB to be traded to the Jets too? Manish can freak off.

You have just introduced Manish Mehta into a conversation that had absolutely nothing to do with him at any point. Congrats, you just got played.

Pretty sure more than a few people on this board were pining for him to come here as well

Didn’t you fall asleep on a pizza?

Not the mighty MBGreen

Didn’t you fall asleep on a pizza?
Yes, because I was exceptionally drunk. What's your excuse?

Were there? Quite a few were all in on signing Bell, but the desire for Brown as well wasn't particularly great as far as I recall.

That’s not an excuse...that’s abuse

That was me but I was trolling hard

Of the alcohol or the pizza? Because I still ate the pizza when I woke up.

You’re a filthy vagrant

A filthy vagrant with a full stomach

I thought it would be great to get Brown and Bell (my preference in a one-or-the-other was Bell) because I want as many weapons as possible for Darnold.
I'm not particularly upset it didn't work out with Brown at this point.
-
Brown's approaching a level of delusional narcissistic paranoia that's boardering on Schizophrenia.
-
In ten years or less this guys brain will be in a specimen jar for a CTE test.

Assuming he retains as much mental ability as Dave Duerson by that point.

And you traded away Khalil Mack
-
And now this: Raiders’ WR Antonio Brown has told team officials that, unless he gets to wear his old helmet, he will not play football again, per league sources.
Schefter
-
I had really wanted him.
I'm so glad we didn't get him. Dude's brains are scrambled.
-
Schefter
That’s hilarious

Sounds like he’s going to retire then.
If that happens, Do the raiders get comp picks for him next year since they traded away picks for him and he never played a down for them?
