i have seen too much with the jets-pats and our young QBs to ever feel comfortable
from zach throwing absolute air balls to nobody for multiple picks last year. the cover 0 game with sam 'seeing ghosts'. sanchez and rex getting bludgeoned 45-3 in 2010.
i will never feel comfortable with this game. zach has underwhelmed but at at least he has done well at protecting the ball. i hope this isn't the game where we see him make really bad mistakes for picks

We started at our own 10 and ended up with 3 points. We were in a deep field position hole, and we flipped it and got points. In this game, that's fine by me. I also love that it came on a Zach deep throw. He missed a few throws early, but that play should give him confidence and let the Pats know that Zach can make plays deep.
Gotta get 7 ideally, but that was a huge drive for the team.

Well, the reason would be because you think White has a better chance of winning us the game. That might even be true, but we don't want to start that QB controversy yet. We still need to evaluate Zach, and he needs more time. Even if the evaluation is likely that he isn't good.

Yep. We are. But we have a terrible quarterback. He was terrible last year, and he's been terrible this year. I'm willing to give him most of this year because we spent a ton of draft capital in him, and he has tools to be good. But the most likely scenario is that he sucks.

Zach has had a bunch of good plays today that have moved the ball. But he continues to have like a dozen plays every game that are just inexcusable.
If he could clean up the bad plays, he has a chance to be good. But at some point, you're just Carson Wentz. He's not there yet, but he might be there in 2 months.
