Our first drive, we threw for a 1st down, then we ran twice for 5 yards and threw on 3rd down.
Our second drive, we went run-pass-pass.
Way too early to say "we've already abandoned the run" when 3 of our 5 plays on 1st and 2nd down are rushes.

Still should call time out and make us punt. Denver could take a knee if it wants to. More bad things can happen for the Jets than the Broncos, especially if you tell your punt returner not to touch it if it's a difficult catch.
If the Jets had a real offense, it could have made sense to call time out with like a second left and try to run some sort of desperation lateral play, but we don't, so whatever.
