As a Knicks and Devils fan I'm thankful the Hall stepped it up and gave me something. This is all icing now but I'd love to see them finish this.

Didn't SC start like 15-0 or something? That means they were a sub-.500 team the second half of the year and the committee puts a lot of credence in how teams finish, usually. Idk about that Seton Hall 6 seed though.

Finished 9-8 after 15-0. Not great, but injuries came at unfortunate time (especially missing an all SEC First teamer in a 1 point loss). Not happy about Cuse and Michigan over them, but Vandy and Tulsa hurt the most right now

In hindsight, yes. A bunch of young guys who could play three games in a row the way they did, I felt like with a few days off and a low seed opponent they would be ok, but they just weren't making shots. Whitehead was front rim on everything and they needed him to make shots, could have been the altitude, take a little energy out of your legs and you shoot short. Combine that with a ton of missed layups, terrible free throw shooting and a solid Gonzaga team and you have a recipe for a loss.

What the hell happened to Northern Iowa last night was something I have never seen, losing a 12 point lead in 44 seconds because they couldn't handle a press and turned it over 4 times and gave up 6 lay ups (2 and 1's) in that moment in time.
Then they hit 3 after 3 in OT to send it to double OT only to run outta gas.
That and A&M had a guy (Danuel House) score 22 points in the last 4 minutes of regulation and OT

I don't get why Williams would have three of his players defending the baseline. Villanova had 4 seconds left, you have to figure they're shooting a 3. Don't get it at all. They're not gonna risk a 60-foot pass when the game is tied.

I hate the NBA but love March Madness. I don't watch College Basketball outside of it though. The unpredictability is great. Those final four games really sucked though.

I'm ambivalent about March Madness. Obviously the good games are the fun part, but I have trouble pretending to give a excrement about Stephen F. Austin State and South Central Florida International Tech.

I don't understand hating on it, but I don't enjoy college basketball. I did when I was in school, but that gradually disappeared. There are too many stoppages for my tastes. I don't like the way that it alternates between that quick pace in which scoring and leads change too quickly and the monotonous drag of a could heavy end crawl. I don't hate it, but I have no desire to watch any games. I didn't watch any this year and don't feel like I missed anything in the slightest. To each his own.

I really enjoy the NBA but I can't get into college basketball. I suspect it's for the same reason that I can't get into college football the way I love the NFL - the turnover of players and the difference in playing styles makes it so hard to follow unless your an alumnus or a devotee. I want to get into it but it's so difficult.

While I like pretty much every sport, Villanova basketball and Jets football are my 2 favorites by far. The only thing that would compare to a Jets Super Bowl is a Villanova championship. And we won on a buzzer-beater. That was unbelievable.
