Could you imagine if they picked those two? The Oline would have been the best ever even if you had Bo, MBGreen and Iggy as the LG,RG,and Rt.The Jets passed on Dwight Stephenson but at least they got Guy Bingham.
Who the hell is that thing in your avatar?
Holy freak.Tell em large Marge sent ya.
Rex was fined $100k for his f-bomb.Rich Cimini @RichCimini 12m12 minutes agoOther Jets' fines: Jason Babin fined $16,537 for unnecessary roughness and Michael Vick fined $8,268 for unsportsmanlike conduct. #nyj
My dad always says he's undefeated at tailgating
Maybe it's not I who doesn't know what he's talking about
The thing is McDougle was the second one. They liked Milliner, he didn't miss a lot of games at Alabama, fine. But why back that up with a guy at the same position who definitely had issues? Let's face it, Idzik couldn't have handled the CB position any worse if he was trying. He inherited the best tandem in the game and within 18 months parlayed it into signing guys off the street the week of the game.
Jesus christ, looking at that draft now.I knew JLJ was an infamous Jets bust with the 2nd overall pick, but I never knew Hall of Famer Anthony Munoz went with the next pick. And then I scrolled down and it got worse. With the 47th overall pick the Jets selected, Ralph Clayton, WR, Michigan. He recorded 0 catches with the Jets as far as I can tell. With the 48th overall pick the Dolphins selected Dwight Stephenson, C, Alabama. 5x All Pro, Hall of Fame.We passed on two Hall of Fame offensive linemen for two WR busts in the first two rounds of that draft.
BTW They were going to draft Munoz but the Jets Dr.'s put the Kibosh on it.
If memory serves, McDogual tore a knee up in HS, and had a messed up Nile for either his freshman or Sophmore year (that he played through) then FUBARD his shoulder senior year. So yeah the guy wasn't clean before the draft.
