There's definitely a pattern playing roulette. There's a reason that big board with all the flashy numbers are right next to every wheel. Is it luck, of course. There's a certain amount of luck involved in every game.
I rarely play numbers, I usually play corners or straddle rows across (6 squares).
I know. Jfif is at it again. We're not all big time gamblers like you. I bow to your superiority. Maybe Bo has a mortgage and a kid and he doesn't want to drop $25 a hand playing black jack but would still like the comraderie of playing a table game that's still a) fun b) gives a relatively easy chance of winning a little c) a game he can sip a drink during and d) isn't a slot machine.
I love how you quoted "good" at roulette in your post too, basically insinuating I ever said that too. I know you'll find some way to argue about it, but I've always found some way to be up playing roulette. In fact most times I play, I usually find myself up a few hundred bucks. But, I'm guessing unlike you, I sit at a minimum $15 table and spread it around. Like dcm said, patience is important, but Bo doesn't strike me as the type of guy who'll throw $50 down on one or two numbers. Sorry for the edits, but I'm too busy chasing my kid around to keep typing.
