Makes sense to attack the trade market. This was always the logical next step if we aren't going to throw big money at free agents. You can either throw big money at FAs or you can throw late draft picks at guys under contract at more reasonable deals.
They let Moses walk for Fant and Mekhi and they signed Duane Brown to replace Becton. Clearly that didn't work out, but I'm not shocked Moses didn't want to come when he wouldn't have been guaranteed a starting job. I don't know how that negotiation went.
