I'd keep him unless we can replace him.  Even if we draft a strong slot prospect like Rondale Moore or Elijah/Rondale Moore, Crowder is still the best option on the roster...until he isn't.

The Jets don't need to make cuts to clear up space.  Pay him for a year and let him help whoever comes in at QB.  He's reliable and seems like a good locker room guy.

I'd try to extend him to spread out his cap hit a little.  He's worth keeping for a few years.  What he brings would help any QB here.  If we cut him, he won't get what he's getting here this year, so he has motivation to extend things unless he just wants out.

He's not a great fit in the scheme.  It'd be smart to keep him for one more season and then have a replacement (slot prospect) take that spot over fully in 2022.
