He's fallen for a reason so that mid first grade might not include all of the real info. He'll come off the board eventually but I think I've been clear about what my opinions of leaving offensive contributors on the board in favor of defense early on are.

Yeah but....you also thought AVT didn't play Tackle.

Gord or trade down for Gord
My dad always says he's undefeated at tailgating

Maybe it's not I who doesn't know what he's talking about

Between Becton, Mims, Wilson, and AVT, Douglas has done an uncanny job of getting "our guys."

Hopefully that continues today and we don't get a head scratcher.

fingers crossed he's learned from the James Morgan pick

Lol

He just landed our franchise QB, and traded up for the best Gord in the draft.

I assume he learned that taking players to develop in the later rounds is a solid strategy to build depth since not every player taken in the draft is going to be NFL ready.

just using the draft value chart as a scaffold, the jets would likely have to trade down into the late 40s/early 50s in order to be able to recoup a 3rd round pick

this of course isnt taking into account real life factors such as the player(s) available at our pick, how badly the team trading up wants said players, and how desperate they are

need a bidding war....someone will overpay.

Trading back is nice, but getting 3 players in a draft that have top 20 talent can make a massive difference for a team that lacks top end talent.

What if we could get 3 players in a draft that have top 20 talent, while still acquiring a 3rd round pick?

Eh, JOK might be the only guy out there with top-20 talent. Jenkins, Moore and Ojulari are close.

Really, as long as we don't take Javonte Williams or a cornerback at 34, I'm happy with pretty much every option.

that knee issue that came out of Ojulari's workout is concerning.  I wasn't high on him anyway.  If he drops to the 3rd round, we're in business.  Same goes for Dickerson...his injury history is a little too long for my liking.  But if he's there in the 3rd (and we have a pick), do it.

Jenkins or JOK are steals in the 2nd round, imo.

I like Asante Samuel Jr too.

We have plenty of options that will benefit this team at 34.  I'm not worried.

We need JD to get on the horn with his old buddy Howie Roseman for a trade back to 37.

To the Eagles:
-34
-143
-2022 6th rounder

To the Jets
-37
-70
