I'd still rather trade down from 2, draft things like OL, WR, TE, EDGE, and CB, and just run Sam into the ground to finish out his rookie deal next year. No option pickup.

If he somehow miracles back to life, it's a nice bonus, but more likely we've just built a really nice team around whoever we trade up to draft in 2022.

The next coach needs to be the one to make the decision on Sam, but if that was the plan he chose, it works for me. By the same token, if he says "Yeah, Sam is trash, we're taking Wilson" I'm in too.

Broadly where I'm at as well. I believe that Sam is very redeemable still, but the new coach is more important.

I still think the most likely situation is QB at 2 or trade out. Its possible Sewell could be had at 4 with all the rumors that Miami is falling hard for Devonta Smith.

If you could drop back to 4 with Atlanta and still get Sewell that would be a damned interesting scenario. And if Chase is your fallback option? I can get behind that risk IMO
