That's the problem with Sam - he was playing very well today, but that is an awful mistake, and it led to 3 points for Buffalo, and they're right back in the game. Can't make those mistakes.

Also, I think that play might have been him panicking in the pocket a bit, even if he didn't scramble.

Positives: OL is dominating, Franke Gore and Perine look good. Mims has been strong. Defense actually looks like an NFL unit. We have a lead.

Negatives: despite Sam playing so well that one bad mistake Haunts us. Haven’t forced a punt. Failed on 4th and 1 (again)

But this is what I mean when I say that Sam Darnold should be good enough to win us a couple games to get us out of the No. 1 pick, and if he's not, then I'm fine replacing him.

This game is right on the table for us. Defense has somehow played well. We're running the ball as well as we have all season. Sam has made plays. Sam needs to guide us home. Obviously, the defense could collapse in the 2nd half, too, but with Mims and Perriman both playing, we have some weapons out there.

I think he just locked onto the WR and lost sight of the field. He had plenty of time.

I want to see more Perrine off tackle runs.

I'm hoping Cameron Clark can take either Alex Lewis' or GVR's job eventually; we still are not getting any push up the middle.

He was lazy on his technique. Even on that beautiful dime in the 1st half, he didn't really step into it either.

As bad as Darnold was on that drive, the coaches need to call a timeout there and slow it down.

That entire last series was clusterfuck for no reason.

it looked like he had a higher/awkward release on the pick for sure. have to check out a replay

i wonder if that affected how much he was able to get behind the throw and why it was underthrown so badly; he may have seen the corner and thought he had enough to get it over/past him. or he just didn't see the corner at all. still a tough/bad throw to attempt in either situation regardless

Statistically, we're almost as likely to get a roughing the passer penalty as we are to get a sack, so I get nervous when we get near a QB.

This Bills team is just bad today. We aren’t good and they are just handing us this game

We still have a lead.

Very curious to see what this offense looks like to start the half
