My dad always says he's undefeated at tailgating

Maybe it's not I who doesn't know what he's talking about

I, for one, welcome our new overlords who excel at hitting but can’t field for excrement.

I can’t imagine a world with baseball that exists without Dan Vogelbach

Or even worse, one where you have to watch him play the field

Pitching to 8 batters then an automatic out = strategy

Facing 9 professional hitters on repeat = dumbing down the game
Teams that draft well do so no matter where they pick. Teams that draft poorly do so no matter where they pick I want my team to win games and draft well

Poor Seafood knows in his heart that the DH is so much better, but like so many belief-based attitudes, it's hard to give up what you cling to, even in the face of science. I just hope he continues to see the error of his ways and fully comes around to the truth.

The DH is objectively better for baseball. If you don't agree, well, everyone is allowed to be wrong sometimes, I guess.

Wake me up when they pull the starting pitcher. I’m only here for the guy who gets one at bat every 4 games.

The best you guys can come back with is cartoons and nonsense. Speaks volumes.

There's nothing objective about it. Again, as a Dodger fan I can see why the Yankee fans are so protective about this. Especially the ones whose knowledge of baseball consists of strutting around in T-shirts celebrating all of their titles from last century (like you helped). It takes almost no wisdom to just throw a bunch of money at a row of hitters and a couple of pitchers. I'm glad the Dodgers have wrapped up a playoff spot inside of three weeks, but it leaves a lot of the game very uninteresting.
So it turns out, Italian Seafood was right an everyone can go freak themselves.

i'm a fan of an NL team and have never had a problem with the NL lacking the DH, and have never had issue with the AL having the DH. That being said, I think it's very cool and a nice changeup that we're currently in a time where the universal DH is a thing. let's see how it goes

I’ve always thought the correct format is AL with DH, NL without DH. I’ve said this many times. I prefer AL baseball, but the amount of times that I would have to watch the Yankees play NL style rules is very few and honestly a refreshing change of pace.  I would probably prefer NL rules if I grew up watching an NL team.

I would probably defend NJ if I grew up there but I'd be wrong
