I've been working on an online game for a few months that I wanted to share with you all.
Have you ever watched ESPN and said,
"Mike Greenberg has no clue what he's talking about"or listened to Mike Francessa and thought,
"I literally could have done a better job them in my sleep"Well now here's your chance
The shortest explanation of the game is an online version of
"Around the Horn",
but instead of journalists answering Tony Reali's questions you're the panelist giving the take.
Imagine a mashup of Twitch and Chat Roulette,
but instead of dudes fapping, people offer competing sports takes for others to watch.
Oh also, since there is no Tony Reali, those who aren't answering questions, give out points to the answers you think are most correct, or the person you hate less.
If I've piqued your interest, I have some more concrete details below.
- Since this is a Jets forum we'll make a list of football and Jets questions
- A question will be selected and 2 random participants will have 2 minutes to debate the sports question via video chat
- Those not answering the question can award points throughout the 2 minutes for takes and opinions they like
- At the end of the 2 minutes the contestant with the most points stays on, and a new challenger joins to answer a new question
- At the end of the entire session, the person with the most points wins
If you're interested respond below and I'll reach out to coordinate a time for us to play.
Answering some common questions
- You don't need to answer questions to participate, although I know after a few rounds you'll all want to
- If you don't want to video chat, voice chatting is fine
- This session will not be streamed to the public, but your friends can join, just let me know
Also let me know if you have any questions.
