Seahawks (he means Chargers) and Panthers swapping Okung and Turner

The deal is tentatively agreed to and is expected to be processed at the start of the league year: The #Chargers are trading LT Russell Okung to the #Panthers in exchange for standout OL Trai Turner, sources say. A swap of big-time OLs. Nothing is final until it’s official.

Panthers were going to cut him and okung was forcing his way off the team

The Panthers were never going to release a 26 year old coming off of five straight Pro Bowls

It's a moronic trade for Carolina.  They are taking on a lesser player because they want to "build culture" and not pay established players.
