It would be hard to pass on lamb

I literally was thinking that when I saw the list only to scroll up and see this.

I'd love to see us sign Conklin.

Brown, Herbert, Simmons, Epensa

Whats the consensus on these guys going top 10.
Who else do you think can sneak into the top 10

Mekhi Becton, Jordan Love (lmao), and maybe Henry Ruggs could be top ten

I still haven’t figured out who I like better out of Eason and Love. Love has a better all around skill set and is more polished and Eason I kind of as a poor man’s Josh Allen. At this point, either could sneak into the top 10 to a desperate team, but mid to late first is probably a more realistic projection.

Whether or not a fourth quarterback sneaks into the top 10 is going to hinge on Cam's meds imho.

You figure the Bengals, Dolphins and Chargers will be in the market for a QB/will be the destination for Burrows, Tua, Herbert.

Who else is taking a QB in the top 10 besides the Panthers? Maybe Oakland trades up from 12 as they have the most capital by virtue of the Mack trade if they fall in love with someone, ditto Indy or Tampa depending on what happens with Jameis (I still think they franchise him).

I'm not high on the guy, but I could see evaluators falling in love with Herbert during the workout season to the point that I'd be pretty surprised if he doesn't go top 10.

I’d honestly take Fromm over all of them except Burrow

I'm not a fan of Herbert at all, but he strikes me as a guy that's going to have a front office fall in love with what they see when he's working out at a scripted pro day.

I like Tua more than you do, but the hype was ridiculous.

I know people are down on Fromm, I could still see a needy team sneaking into the late first to grab him.

Because you like Fromm or because you hate the others so much? I certainly think that Fromm is being overlooked a bit, I've seen him mocked as a day 2 player and I think he's done more than enough for someone to think that he's a potentially great redshirt option. A team like LA could sit him behind Rivers for a year.

A little bit of both

Fromm just has some factors on and off the field that translate well to the NFL

I see a lot of Drew Brees in him

I definitely like him a lot more than Eason, who has played the same number of games Mark Sanchez did in college. I haven't seen too much of him but I don't understand why he's suddenly climbing draft boards.

Eason has had the possibility of a 1st round grade attached to his name since sometime last season. The closer it gets to the draft, the more the QBs start to get overvalued and shoot up the board.

Dollar Store Joe Flacco.

Also, I love scouting reports:

Quote
He won’t ever be compared to Kyler Murray or Lamar Jackson, but he can extend plays and pick up yards with his legs.

Jacob Eason rushing yards per season:

2016: -45
2017: -12
2019: -64

He's Tony Eason's kid? Screw him.
Teams that draft well do so no matter where they pick. Teams that draft poorly do so no matter where they pick I want my team to win games and draft well

Joe Flacco is a good comp. I haven’t seen much of him but it’s easy for me to attach the Josh Allen comp to him because the 2 things you always read about him are big arm and accuracy issues. Way less athletic than Allen though.

Dolphins
  • Tua
  • Higgins
  • Creed

I'm not a fan of Tua, but improving his oline and giving him 3 recievers 6'3 and up is a good way to help his success (Adams, Geisicki, Higgins)

I don't have strong feelings about Tua as a player, he's clearly talented and it's up for debate as to how far his talent will go in the NFL. The hip thing worries me though, I don't know much about physiology but I feel like hip injuries are a thing that lots of people never seem to completely recover from and there's always a danger of a recurrence.
