Completely guessing, but probably because he made some boneheaded mistakes and celebrated like he was a Pro Bowler.  Maybe he has potential, but he's a backup right now at best.

Bless was responsible for letting Deonte Johnson get behind him with 0:09 seconds to go in the half vs. Pittsburgh.  Maurice Canady (Ravens) replaced him yesterday and fwiw engaged in a bit of his own brand of Kyle Wilson finger wagging.

I had no problem with Austin getting some time on the pine, but 6 full quarters of football?

And yeah, Canady's fingerwag game was strong.
