My dad always says he's undefeated at tailgating

Maybe it's not I who doesn't know what he's talking about

Edoga got worse as the season went on...

They are really trying to justify their rankings last year

FTR, I still believe in Edoga as a starting caliber tackle but he is replaceable.

That's an interesting article. Says two things to me: we absolutely need to get one of the big 4, and we should be putting a lot of store in the organisations that players are coming from, particularly schools with consistent OL production lines like Wisconsin and Iowa, given what Schwartz says about the coaching.

How many Wisconsin offensive linemen have actually been successful in the pros?

Not sure about that, their rankings had him as the 11th best tackle in the draft last year.

They are wrong that he got better (his best games were his first couple starts) and he got worse from there.

They’re also wrong that the Jets put in Edoga for the heck of it. He went in when Shell/Beachum went down.

Joe Thomas wasn't bad. I don't know how many other Wisconsin linemen have made NFL careers, I presume some. I'm not about to go check.

I throw Edoga and Fant in a similar boat. Both have athletic upside to be quality starters on either side of the line. Both are also very inconsistent - Edoga because he's a rookie and Fant because he's an ex-basketball player.

Best case scenario, both become NFL-caliber starters and we finally have quality depth on the line. Worst case scenario, we need another OT next year to go with whomever we draft this year.

Chuma Edoga gave up 3 pressures against the Cardinals, one for a sack.

Chuma Edoga got lucky that Chandler Jones' bicep exploded early in the game.

He was also AWFUL as a run blocker

PFF DISAGREES

I don’t understand how PFF could watch that performance yesterday and think it was passable let alone good
Need a new one for a new board...
