Fun to see Douglas trying to trade up. Was clear in the 2nd they wanted Corley or Roman Wilson but seemed very pumped about Corley

I am curious if they do a day 3 episode or not. Those guys were not mentioned at all

Surprised they no-sold the Penix pick after all the talk of it being a defender.

The Douglas shrug is going to be a gif we see a lot this year as long as things are going well.

Douglas hugs everyone after the Olu pick except Woody.

Woody remains the most awkward person.

Douglas clearly did not want AD Mitchell. He was thrilled when the Colts took him (probably just because they didn't take Corley or Wilson).

It's always fun learning who the other options were, in this case Roman Wilson vs Malachi Corley. That said, learning it could have been Mayer last year was a little alarming.

They could have stayed put at 72 and gotten Wilson. Maybe Corley, too.

There are tweets saying that jets were trying to go for Rome based off of flight 24. Nothing that was provided backs that at all. People freaking annoy me.

Regardless, I do think we wanted Rome. Editors didn’t provide any of that footage.

The ‘freak, let me call you back’ followed by a grin was definitely a ploy by JD to stall out the person on the line and try to get more (likely the Vikes, Raiders, or Saints). 

I don’t know if there truly was a bidding war for 10, so to get the vikings to give up more picks to move up if so was very well done by JD. He says ‘I mean, if Vegas or New Orleans were about it’, meaning they didn’t seem serious about a trade.

He was on the phone with another team at pick 11 and he told them ‘I think we’re good, let me call this pick in, good luck’. Maybe he was trying to trade back again  even from 11

Odunze was the only prospect worth moving up to 8 for.  Atlanta tells him they aren't trading in that episode. 

ATL being too scared to move back to 10 is just wild.  No one was taking Penix.
