This is actually some really good football.

The kickoff rule is cool.

It's really refreshing to see football where the QB isn't more important than every other player on the field combined

Cutting out elite QB's makes a far better game

It’s basically college football with some interesting wrinkles

Aaron Murray has to get cut after this

He's single handedly making it not a game

Small but lively crowd for yesterday's game, but the thing is...if there were 12,000 people at MetLife yesterday, 10,000 of them went to a team store to buy merchandise.

I kind of wish they were able to format Red Bull arena to fit football because I think aesthetically the Guardians would be better served playing in a smaller building like that, but I also have a feeling that Vince isn't paying rent to MetLife until this thing shows it can get off the ground.

But I gotta say, I really enjoyed the game. The football wasn't terrible (though Aaron Murray absolutely stinks and McGloin can't hit a deep ball to save his life), and the crowd was energetic.

That Guardians running back is T H I C C

I was saying this to my wife while watching. It feels like somewhere between college and the pros. Without the over-the-top WWE-style theatrics of the previous XFL, this is something that definitely scratches the itch for a few extra weeks.

I love that kickoff rule.

I only watched the Guardians game. 1 and oh baby! Look out!

McGloin looked like a guy with real NFL experience playing against lesser talent. Aaron Murray was awful. There's no way Flowers shouldn't be starting for TB.

The Guardians unis are fire.
The Viper unis are a dumpster fire. The jersey isn't bad, but that helmet looks awful.
