I have yet to try that, but I've heard good things.

I'm hesitant to recommend it to people because I don't think it's for everyone, but I love it.

I recommend it to people and judge them heavily based on their responses.

Wheel of Time is out. I think Foundation had a stronger start.

Edit: This feels like an adaptation of a YA novel.

That's what it looked like in trailers.  Bummer.

Yea, not for me.

I stopped about halfway through and switched to my Expanse re-watch and two things hit me every time:

1. Completely forgot that Jonathan Banks was in this show for one scene.

2. It always bothered me that Miller was the only Belter without an accent.

Yeah.  Also that almost all Belters in the show look completely normal.  In the books they're all freakishly lanky and tall - it helps explain why they're so dehumanized by the inners.  I get it though, I'd rather see Cara Gee and Jared Harris in those roles than some mediocre 7 ft. actors.

Cowboy Bebop is getting destroyed in the reviews. 45 Metacritic, 49 Rotten Tomatoes. Le sad.

Agreed that it lost some of the effect but the choice to go with casting for acting talent over physical attributes or going with some ridiculous CGI or makeup was the right call.

I did like that they kept the tattoos. I loved the lore of the tats covering up the effects of early spacer tech.
