There has only been one 16-11 game in NFL history - last year's Jets-Titans game. So that makes sense.

Ha. I was trying to figure out the weird permutations to get to that score, but with the move of the PAT I guess we'll probably see a few more two point attempts.

We're already seeing the effect on the typical scores from preseason.

Preseason doesn't really count though, coaches use those games to try things out that they wouldn't do in a game situation e.g. the number of times they go for it on fourth down. The kickers are still making something like 93% of PATs so it's still going to be the go-to option.

Doesnt it mathematically make more sense to go for 2 now?

ie 100 PAT @ 93% = 93 points
100 2 point conversions@ 47.9% (the historical average) = 95.8 points

I guess the question becomes is the current 2 point conversion rate greater or less than the historical average

Don't know, that's an interesting question and some pretty relevant maths. Maybe it takes the 2PC from being a situational play to being a strategy, especially if you have the offensive capability to do it. I guess the flipside is that if your offense is sufficiently dominant over an opponent to make it work consistently, you probably don't need it. The additional points aren't much use if they're just running up the score against a weaker opponent you were beating anyway.

^ rapey stuff is certainly possible, but I don't see anything sexual in that statement.  You could have the same statement if he pushed her down.

I'm glad we have such a strong goal line defense.  We're gonna be stopping deuces all season.
