His YPA wasn't low because he was scared and checking it down. They were getting the ball out of his hands with screens and quick hitters.
They did a relatively nice job of easing him into the NFL by asking him to do things he was familiar with.
I know he has a ways to go, but I still think he was the best rookie QB.
Him and Bridgewater looked like the keepers of tgat class to me.
I didn't see enough of either teams season to declare a best though.
I liked Carr before the draft but wasn't in the camp of we gave to get him.
I liked Bridgewater even after the pre draft stock drop.
Carr did do well with little help thpugh so that's always impressive from a young QB
