You can make the case we still haven't recovered from this one.

it definitely set us back a few years, if petty is developed into a long term starter than I guess it will have been worth it but that is still a big if at this moment.

I added this season's games to the right dates, will add pictures and take down the dead ones when I get time. Unless I disappear from here again for a while, which is possible.

in a week it will be on this day but this was probably the greatest win in jets history outside of the 1968 season.

Those were exciting times.  I don't miss the almost constant anxiety.  The only good thing about the Jets being shitty is that my stress level is lower on Sundays.

Speaking as a Yankee fan, winning greatly reduces your stress levels even during the playoffs. You get that "oh well, at least I had (insert years here)" in your head as a backup in case they lose.

But as a Jets fan, the more seasons that go with them losing, the more stressful I'll get when they get to the playoffs. It's the "who knows when they'll get here again?!" kind of stress. That's the worst.

I was the calmest one at the party yesterday, reveling in the misery of others.

That's the worst part. I'm 50 next week, back nine. Let's move this along, Jets.
