Seeing Joyride tonight.

This was fine.

A lot of try hard moments that made me roll my eyes.

Fast X is ridiculously good fun. Obviously there are all sorts of things that don't make any sense, but they've walked the line of stupid perfectly this time (i.e. not shooting cars into space or having ten minute car chases down never ending runways), there are some proper laugh out loud moments (intended), and Jason Momoa is the best Bond villain of the last two decades at least.

I cannot stress enough exactly how much the SAG-AFTRA strike probably saved Deadpool 3 by shutting down production of a movie where Ryan Reynolds wouldn't be able to improvise his quips.

please be good

I am very confident it will be. I haven't seen his Godzilla, but Monsters and Rogue were both outstanding films.

Oppenheimer: brilliantly directed by Christopher Nolan with a very good cast (for the most part).  While a tad long the compelling, complex storyline reflects a compelling, complex genius that Cillian Murphy as Oppenheimer plays with a razor sharp intensity throughout - dude has some rock solid acting chops.  Overall very much worth the watch.

Nolan flat out crushed it - three thumbs up.
