Finally watched Lynne Ramsay's "We Need To Talk About Kevin" after months of it being on my Prime watchlist.
Pretty great film, with heartbreaking, devastating final conversation (no spoilers).
I admit, I did like her Amazon Prime followup, "You Were Never Really Here" better (I've already watched it 3 times). Ramsay is a phenomenal filmmaker, esp in the way she uses music and dream-like visuals to tell story.
If you're extraordinarily wealthy like me and have a Prime membership, and you're ever in too cheerful of a mood, I recommend both movies as a double feature.
(eta: I still haven't seen Morvern Callar, which I've heard is excellent. Also, to be clear, "YWNRH" is one of my favorite movies of like past 5 years. Go watch it.)
