He’s definitely not the solution, so it’s a good decision to move on.
They just should have done it in the offseason so they would have had $17M to throw at a receiver for their rookie QB or an edge rusher for their excrement D.
To be fair nobody expected Jones to be good this season. So if the guy wasn't ready, do you really want to throw him into the fire and destroy any confidence/hope for the future for the guy.
Plus I can see why they'd think it would be beneficial to sit behind Eli for a year.
Didn't work out that way because Eli is done, but it really wasn't the worst idea
