Last time the US lotto was approaching a billion, some person won. Then on the radio in the morning was a story of some jackass that spent his entire life savings (they said well over 50K) on lotto tickets with the intention of winning it all and being set for life. Turns out the dumbass didn’t even win a cent.
And the mats the type of idiocy DCM is talking about people believing in that they shouldn’t.
JEs point is fine and well if you are at a stage where disposable income is real. At my stage of life I don’t have loose money. Student loans are too high and salary too low for now. Perhaps someday the dream will be something I can easily afford to go for.
